Bill Heytens
Real Estate Agent
Bill's motto is "Life is a Journey, Not a Destination". He and his wife Sally grew up in Superior, married and raised their three children there. Bill spent 30 years in the lumber business, helping his customers with their building and remodeling projects. In 2002 he and Sally sold their businesses and embarked on a three year journey that eventually led them to Bayfield, where they purchased an old historic commercial building and brought it back to life. The former Stark Store became Ethel's at 250, a seasonal restaurant just up Rittenhouse Avenue from Reed Realty. Bill's interest in the community and his willingness to help others resulted in him being asked to serve on the Architectural Review Board for the City of Bayfield, where his knowledge and experience are invaluable. He recently followed up on his long-time interest in real estate when he became a licensed agent, now affiliated with Reed Realty. Bill is particularly interested in commercial real estate sales, specifically family businesses, something he has personally experienced. His attention to details, ability to juggle multiple tasks, and sincere interest in helping others make him a natural fit for this busy, productive office.
